Sick ice bucket challenge arseholes dunk puppy headfirst into freezing water
The RSPCA has launched an investigation after a young man dunked his puppy in freezing water as part of the ice bucket challenge. Shocking footage shows a teenage lad thrusting the black pup into a green bucket, reports the Sunday People.
The dog can be seen squirming in the boy’s arms and then yelps as she is dunked headfirst into the water. As he performs the stunt, in a brief 19 second clip, the youth - who is believed to live in London - can be heard saying: “Here’s my dog and she’s doing the ice bucket challenge. She wants to nominate all the others dogs here and all the cats as well, yeah.”
He then asks the puppy “you ready?” before throwing her into the bucket, which stands on a small table placed in the road.
[As a side note, this charity tests on animals. It’s probably worth knowing that most of your raised cash will go on testing on animals, which has been proven multiple times to be ineffective. Please consider donating to a kinder charity that looks into research for ALS and other diseases, such as the Dr Hadwen Trust.
You can find a list of kind charities here at Humane Seal.]
Pamela Anderson challenged this too, she wrote on Facebook: ‘Sorry - I can’t bring myself to do your Ice bucket challenge. I enjoy a good dare - It’s always good to bring awareness - in fun, creative ways. I don’t want to take away from that, but it had me thinking. Digging a bit deeper, I found that we may not be aligned - in our messages. So I thought Instead I’d challenge ALS to stop Animal testing. Recent experiments funded by the ALS Association, mice had holes drilled into their skulls, were inflicted with crippling illnesses, and were forced to run on an inclined treadmill until they collapsed from exhaustion. Monkeys had chemicals injected into their brains and backs and were later killed and dissected.”
